Jacinta created Inky Koala during an experimental session with indigo ink, water and a straw on watercolour paper. What began as playful exploration evolved into something magical when one of her ‘splodges’ took the shape of a koala nestled in a tree. With fine white pigment ink, she brought its gentle features to life.
 
This limited edition print (one of only five) captures the joy of artistic play and the quiet presence of one of Australia’s most loved, yet increasingly threatened, species.
