It was added to Australia's list of endangered wildlife in July 2022, having previously been listed as vulnerable. Populations have declined by 80% in just 20 years. As old growth forests and tree hollows continue to be destroyed by bushfires and land-clearing, greater gliders numbers continue to crash. From the Australian Conservation Foundation.
 
Living in the leafy suburb of Research in Melbourne, local artist and illustrator Clare Dunstan of Tog & Pini works from her cozy studio, accompanied by her dog and guinea pigs. Clare creates charming watercolour artworks on paper, which she then transforms into greeting cards, prints, jewellery, and textiles. Her art reflects her love for feathered and furry creatures, all infused with a touch of quirky humour.
